Today's New York is a marvellous example how almost any race, nationality and religion can live peacefully together. It's probably the real unique world city.

After the terrible 911 attacks NY is more than ever a great tourist destination. The choice of attraction are numerous and tours are plenty available. Below are some are some suggestions.

	Greenwich Village is the place to go for good food and entertainment. Jazz is directly linked to this famous area, but you will find plenty of other music places as well.
	Times Square the heart of Broadway and the home of NASDAQ is a bustling centre of New York.
	Statue of Liberty is the old grand lady of New York. Together with Ellis Island, it forms the first symbol of America. About 12 million immigrants have passed this area when the came to the USA.
	After the terrible 911 attacks Empire State Building is again the tallest building in New York. It offers a magnificent view over Manhattan.

The diversity of the people living in this city has brought an equal diverse cuisine to New York. From Brazilian to Italian, German to Japanese you'll find it all. It's not always authentic as Americans have a tendency to Americanize many of the dishes.
