To travel in Europe is one of the easiest you can imagine. Especially in Western Europe you can go almost anywhere with public transportation. Train, aircraft, bus nationwide, cross border and in cities by bus, subway, trams. The European countries have interlinked seamlessly their railway systems. Their are a range of Europass tickets which takes you for a fix amount by train through Europe depending on time and number of destinations. Eastern Europe is partially still lagging behind. The big cities are well connected.

Watch out for the budget carriers. Many of them don't fly to the major airports so you have some additional travel to do.

Western Europe has very high hygienic standards, be it food, water, healthcare. Some Eastern European countries do still lack a bit behind. Check with the hotel you stay in.

As most of Europe is Christian you should not meet any major problems as long as you behave proper.

French, Italian Spanish cuisine is famous but even the other countries have excellent food. A rule is the further away you get from the coast the less seafood you will find. Bread and diary products as well as cold cuts like ham, salami and pâté's are an important part of the daily diet. 

Home of the famous BMW cars, the world largest beer festival called Oktoberfest and celebrated by 7,5 million people during ten days each year. Within an hour you reach some of the best skiing areas in the alps. It's surrounded by magnificent castles like Neuschwanstein beautiful mountains and lakes.

Barcelona in the north of Spain at the Mediterranean is the economically most active and cosmopolitan city in Spain. Barcelona has a long history, and you will find buildings of the Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance or even still older epochs. Barcelona was a center of the modernistic style around the turn of the century, and it was particularly the ingenious Antoní Gaudí , which lent a new and exciting face to the city.

Since the reunification Berlin has regained it's splendor as one of the great cities in Europe. It is again the capital of Germany with approximate 3.5 million inhabitants. It has a rich history dating back to the 12th century. Today Berlin is again a true international city with everything from culture, art to entertainement.
