La Rambla is the main pedestrian street between Placa del Portal de la Pau and Placa de Catalunya on the other side. It's a bustling street with musicians, jugglers, magicians and as well plenty of pick pocketing activity. Watch out even when sitting in one of the many restaurants.

Sagrada Familia is the most famous architectural monument of Barcelona's famous son Antonio Gaudi. To be honest it's not finished yet and nobody knows when it will. To see all of Gaudi go on a Modernista Tour

A harbor cruise gives you a fantastic view of the city.

Abbey of Montserrat and it's church dates back to the 16th century. The "Moreneta", Holy Mary of Montserrat, is the wonder of the Mountain and guardian of Catalonia. The abbey has as well a gallery with paintings from Spain's masters.

The famous holiday island Mallorca is one hours flight from Barcelona. If you have the time make it at least an overnight stay. You as well go by ferry.

A 2 hours drive takes you to the principality of Andorra. Located in the mountains between France and Spain. Enjoy the good food and duty-free shopping.
